The passion she has for sports began at a very young age. While she competed on a number of levels throughout the time of her college and school years, it wasn't until later when Taft took the choice to pursue broadcasting. Taft began her broadcasting career with Fox Sports North after graduating from Boston University with a degree of broadcast journalism.
